On Friday, September 8, the head of state held a preparatory meeting for the international event, which is scheduled for this September. The president promised to provide details a little later, but emphasized that an important defense package was being prepared for Ukrainian soldiers. Zelensky stated this in an evening address published on Facebook.
Today is a very active day, many international communications – Ukraine should be heard and understood in the world. Shared emotions are always a great source of greater support,” the head of state noted.
Zelensky noted that Kyiv now sees “too long a sanctions pause on the part of its partners.” Also recorded are too active attempts by the aggressor country, Russia, to circumvent the already imposed sanctions.
The head of state emphasized that it is very important for Western countries to add solutions and prevent the occupiers from making any attempts to “use the companies of the free world, the technologies of the free world, the products of the free world, to fight against freedom.”
According to the president, Ukraine has three priorities: further sanctions against the Russian energy sector, real restrictions on the supply of chips and microelectronics in general to terrorists, and the subsequent blocking of the Russian financial sector.
Let us recall that at the end of August, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said that Ukraine has significantly increased the production of high-precision missile systems “Stugna”, “Corsair”, cruise missiles “Neptune”, and is also producing NATO-style artillery.
