A small plane crashes in Russia’s Tver region; the Federal Air Transport Agency claimed that the head of PMC Wagner, Evgeniy Prigozhin, was among the passengers.
The main intelligence department of Ukraine believes that it is too early to draw conclusions about the death of the Russian head of Wagner PMC Evgeniy Prigozhin. This was announced on Friday, September 8, by Vadim Skibitsky, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in a telethon.
“Let’s wait. It’s not so simple… the same Prigozhin – there was also such a case when… they say there was a plane crash, but he’s alive. This is Russia, it’s hard to understand,” said the representative. of the Main Intelligence Directorate.
Let’s recall that on August 23, a plane with 10 people on board crashed in the Tver region of the Russian Federation, including Prigozhin and the command of the Wagner PMC. They all died. Only on August 27, Prigozhin’s death was officially confirmed.
The founder of PMC Wagner is buried in one of the cemeteries in St. Petersburg on August 29. In addition to relatives, only the closest friends were present at the funeral ceremony.
