The minister was asked if it is possible for children to write the name of a terrorist country in small letters. The head of the Ministry of Education and Science replied that he was “just for it.”
The Minister of Education and Science Oksen Lisovoy advocates that children in schools write the name of the aggressor country in small letters. He announced this on his Facebook page on Friday, September 8.
At the same time, the minister explained why the Ministry of Education and Science issued an order to write the name of Russia with a capital letter in a document about the education of Ukrainian children abroad.
“What is Russia and who are Russians – I know very well from my family’s experience, my own experience and the experience of my brothers. Literally from the beginning. Spelling “рф” with a capital letter is a mistake, but required by common design. Without such an amendment, the Ministry of Justice could not register our order, which determines the characteristics of the education of Ukrainian schoolchildren currently abroad,” Lisovoy wrote.
In comments to the publication, the head of the Ministry of Education and Science was asked if he was against children in Ukrainian schools writing the name of the aggressor country in small letters, to which Lisovoy replied that he was “for only here.”

We remind you that from September 1 in Ukraine, 12,975 schools began to work in various formats. The Minister of Education and Science said that the priority for this academic year is physical and mental safety.
