Ukrainian authorities maintain communication with captured soldiers of the Azov Battalion through intelligence agents. Interior Minister Denis Monastyrsky spoke about it on the air of the telethon on Friday, June 3rd.
“Today, communication with the captured fighters of the Azov regiment is conducted by our intelligence officers from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense. Through them we learn more information: about the conditions of detention, food and possibilities of their release, ”said the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
He expressed his belief that all residents of Azov will be released, because the authorities are doing everything possible for it.
It will be recalled that the defenders of Mariupol have been held captive by the occupiers since May 20. Kyiv intends to exchange fighters.
