In the Severodonetsk area not controlled by Kyiv on Friday, June 3, a car with Reuters journalists caught fire. Two media representatives were injured, the driver was killed, the newspaper reports.
It was discovered that photographer Alexander Yermochenko and cameraman Pavel Klimov were traveling from Rubizhne to Severodonetsk aboard a car provided by a separatist driver.
Reuters informs that it is not yet possible to establish the identity of the deceased.
At the same time, Yermochenko and Klimov were taken to a hospital in Rubizhne, where they were given first aid. The first was diagnosed with a small wound on the shrapnel, the second – a broken arm.
Recall that on May 30, during the evacuation from the Lugansk region, a car carrying people was fired upon by Russian occupiers. As a result, a French journalist, an employee of BFM TV channel Frederic Leclerc died.
In France, they announced that they were forming a special group to investigate the circumstances of Leclerc’s death.
