Since the beginning of 2023 alone, the loan debt has increased by 3.3 trillion, the highest rate since at least 2015.
The debts of the Russian population on loans for the first time in the history of the Russian Federation exceeded 32 trillion rubles. This is confirmed by the data of the Central Bank, published by the Russian media.
It is noted that just from the beginning of 2023, the debts on loans increased by 3.3 trillion – this is the highest rate since at least 2015.
In the first seven months of 2022, the volume of loans to Russians increased by 0.8 trillion rubles, and a year earlier – by 2.8 trillion.
Earlier, the Bailiff Service of the Russian Federation reported that 93% of debtors are citizens, as a rule, of working age (30-45 years old), but without a job, or an official source of income, or housing, except for one.
The number of debtors is equivalent to almost a fifth of the Russian population, estimated by the RF Ministry of Economic Development at 75.8 million people.
It will be remembered that in the first quarter of 2022, the number of Russian citizens with income below the poverty line reached 20.9 million people.
