Oligarch Igor Kolomoisky was charged under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – fraud and legalization of property obtained by criminal means, the SBU reported. It is established that during the period 2013-2020, Igor Kolomoisky legalized more than half a billion hryvnias by transferring them abroad, using the infrastructure of regulated banking institutions. On the same day, the court chose a preventive measure for Kolomoisky in the form of detention for two months with an alternative in the form of a bail of more than UAH 509 million, which is a record bail for Ukraine. Subsequently, the defense side said that Kolomoisky would not make bail. In the evening he was sent to the pre-trial detention center.
The Russians designated a “reserve army” so that their units from the Luhansk region could be moved south.
