Kolomoisky was sent to prison

Oligarch Igor Kolomoisky was charged under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – fraud and legalization of property obtained by criminal means, the SBU reported. It is established that during the period 2013-2020, Igor Kolomoisky legalized more than half a billion hryvnias by transferring them abroad, using the infrastructure of regulated banking institutions. On the same day, the court chose a preventive measure for Kolomoisky in the form of detention for two months with an alternative in the form of a bail of more than UAH 509 million, which is a record bail for Ukraine. Subsequently, the defense side said that Kolomoisky would not make bail. In the evening he was sent to the pre-trial detention center.

Russia appointed a “reserve army” – ISW

The Russians designated a “reserve army” so that their units from the Luhansk region could be moved south. This was reported by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) and the head of the Main Military Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov. According to ISW experts, the 25th combined army is unlikely to be combat ready, due to its rapid deployment.

Ukraine will receive Slinger complexes from Australia

Australian defense technology company Electric Optic Systems (EOS) has demonstrated Slinger systems that can hit drones at a distance of up to 1,500 meters. Later, these complexes will be delivered to Ukraine, according to Australian Defense Magazine. “This technology is actually going to Ukraine. The Total Destruction Slinger system was purchased by the US to be sent to Ukraine,” Matt Jones, EOS EVP Defense Systems, said in a statement.

The number of battles at the front decreased

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that more than 15 clashes took place in one day, and in recent days 25-30 clashes have been recorded. The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue offensive operations in the direction of Melitopol, combined with the achieved lines, and carry out counter-battery measures. In the directions of Limansky, Avdeevsky and Maryinsky, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations.

Russian troops are shooting at Ugledar: there are dead and wounded

In Vugledar, Donetsk region, a Russian attack killed two civilians and wounded two others. Residential development was at the center of the airstrike. An explosion in one of the high-rise buildings killed a 43-year-old man and his 42-year-old wife. The couple’s 19-year-old daughter and another 53-year-old local resident were injured.
