The fitness trainer was sent to a pre-trial detention center for two months. Prosecutors petitioned for such a measure of restraint for a period of 60 days. The person involved in general distributed about 70 publications discrediting the servicemen who are taking measures to ensure the deterrence of Russia’s armed aggression. The blogger faces up to 5 years in prison. This was reported by the police of the Poltava region.
Zavoloka himself said during the meeting that he hates Russia because it started a full-scale war. He stated that he was against corruption in power.
And I am trying with all my might to reduce the illegal actions of people in the power of corruption, taking from the war the injured guys who were injured, shell-shocked. And instead of making them a payment and planting them at home, they put them on patrol on the streets and handing subpoenas to people, realizing that people will react aggressively to this,” the person involved said.
Recall that on August 29, law enforcement officers detained 27-year-old Instagram blogger Roman Zavoloka in Poltava. The police opened proceedings against him under Part 2 of Art. 296 (hooliganism), and the Poltava Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Joint Venture wrote a statement to the Security Service of Ukraine for the military and for denying the aggression of the Russian Federation (Articles 435-1 and 436-2 of the Criminal Code).
In August, this fitness trainer became famous for spitting on a war veteran and calling him a “dick” for deciding to volunteer for the war. He filmed images of the military man and published them on social networks.
