In just one night, near Bakhmut, Donetsk region, the fighters of the Defense Forces destroyed several pieces of equipment of the occupiers, and the total amount of the destroyed amounted to more than 5 million dollars. With one strike drone, they destroyed a T-80 tank, a SAU 2S1 howitzer, and an MTU-90 tank bridge layer.
On September 1, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Ukrainian military destroyed 470 soldiers, 23 tanks, nine armored combat vehicles, 23 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, 33 vehicles and one special equipment per day. Four UAVs were also shot down.
