When asked by an RTP journalist, the President of Ukraine said:
I think that world democracy will support us. I will not leave my country.
In 2024, if the war continues and if elections are held, I will never leave my country in my life,” the President said.
Allies should financially help Ukraine hold elections in 2024, Republican U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham said after Zelenskiy responded to his call.
The senator added that Western countries should also support Ukraine with the security and technical capabilities of voting. And it will be the best investment.
Earlier, the President said that the elections are possible if the United States provides UAH 5 billion for this. It is also necessary to amend the legislation and create conditions for voting in the trenches.
