The ships could be partially flooded – the depth in this area does not exceed 2-4 meters.
The corresponding pictures were published by Radio Liberty.
Earlier, Rakurs wrote about a barrage against sea drones near the Kerch bridge. On the south side of the bridge leading from Taman to the annexed Crimea, the Muscovites erected a barrier after the attack by Ukrainian naval drones.
This was noticed by OSINT researcher David Helms, who published satellite images of the bridge on the X social network. It is difficult to say from these images what exactly the barrier represents.
On August 22, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that Russia was flooding ferries in this place to prevent drone attacks on the bridge. According to the GUR, the Russian army plans to sink at least six boats to create a protective zone in front of the bridge. Between the flooded ferries, the Russians allegedly intend to install booms – as before in the bay of Sevastopol, which was also attacked by surface drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
A satellite photo of the Planet.com service, taken on August 29, confirms the appearance of new objects from the south side of the Kerch bridge. Pictures taken on August 19 and 21 also show preparations in the area.
