On the evening of August 29, on Sobornost Street near one of the establishments, security forces detained 27-year-old Instagram blogger Roman Zavoloka. Employees of the SBU and special forces KORD worked together. The blogger probably resisted and got injured. This was reported by the local edition of “Poltava”.
Criminal proceedings were opened against the detainee under several articles. The police opened proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 296 (hooliganism), and the Poltava Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Joint Venture wrote a statement to the Security Service of Ukraine for the military and for denying the aggression of the Russian Federation (Articles 435-1 and 436-2 of the Criminal Code).
The media published a photo from the place of detention of the blogger.
The SBU said that the detainee had repeatedly tried to discredit the Ukrainian defenders fighting against the invaders. The special service is checking the information that the provocative videos and messages of the attacker could be used by the Kremlin propagandists to spread new fakes about the war in Ukraine.
Recall that in August, Roman Zavoloka spat at a war veteran and called him a “moron” for his decision to volunteer for the war. He published all his videos on his own channel. In particular, the video where he insults the staff of the military registration and enlistment office, the coach published on July 2 and 17 and August 26.
