Ukraine’s five neighbors have already received significant financial support from the European Union, Olga Stefanishyna said.
Ukraine will not make concessions on grain exports to the European Union, because trade policy is the policy of the EU, and not of individual countries that do not have the right to take unilateral measures. This is what Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olga Stefanishyna said in an interview with Forbes Ukraine, quoted by her office on Facebook on Wednesday, August 30.

“With great respect and gratitude to the Polish people, good relations with the Polish government and civil society, Ukraine will not be a tool in the election campaign. Ratings. There will be no concessions from Ukraine on this trade issue. We will not call black and white,” said Stefanyshina.
He also commented on the possibility of expanding restrictions on the Ukrainian export of agricultural products, introduced by five EU countries – Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Romania.
“We have an official assurance from Brussels that there will be no continuation, although Poland is insisting on restrictions after September 15. Since June 5, when the restrictions were extended, Ukraine’s five neighbors have received significant financial support – subsidies for farmers, tripling of infrastructure development budgets by the end of the year,” he said.
As you know, the eastern countries of the EU want to extend the ban on the import of Ukrainian grain until the end of this year.
The Foreign Ministry called such actions “unacceptable” and stressed that they do not correspond to the spirit of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU and the principles of the Single Market.
