It is reported by the Wall Street Journal.
Such plans are being prepared to support Kyiv’s efforts on the battlefield and signal to the Russian authorities that Western support for Ukraine will not waver. At the same time, the publication notes that the lack of weapons and internal political pressure hinder such efforts.
At the same time, the West seeks to convince the Kremlin that support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine will remain unchanged.
Recall that on August 14, the United States allocated new support of $ 200 million. It included ammunition for air defense, artillery shells, anti-tank weapons and much more. In early May, the Council of the European Union decided to provide assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 1 billion euros for the joint purchase of ammunition and missiles.
