Temperature records are being recorded in Kyiv for the second day.

This was reported today, August 29, in the Telegram channel of the Boris Sreznevsky Central Geophysical Observatory.
It is noted that yesterday, August 28, three temperature records were recorded in Kyiv:
- the night of August 28 turned out to be the warmest, since the temperature did not drop below +21.3°C. The previous record value of 1943 and 2022 was exceeded by 1.4 °C;
- in the afternoon, the maximum air temperature in the afternoon reached +35.7°C, which is 0.6°C higher than the previous record in 1943;
- the average daily air temperature was the highest during the observation period and amounted to +27.8°C, which exceeded the previous record figure of 1943 by 1.4°C, and the climatic norm by 9.3°C.
The day before, on August 27, three temperature records were also recorded:
- the night of August 27 turned out to be the warmest, since the temperature did not drop below +21.3°C. The previous record value of 2022 was exceeded by 0.8°C;
- the maximum air temperature in the afternoon reached +33.3°C and repeated the previous record figure of 1943;
- the average daily air temperature was the highest during the observation period and amounted to +26.9°C, which exceeded the previous record figure in 2022 by 2.3°C at once, and the climatic norm by 8.0°C.
