Aeromedical evacuation in Ukraine works at full capacity in a war. This was announced on Thursday, June 2, by the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevgeny Enin on the air of an information telethon.
According to him, both the aircraft of the State Emergency Service and the National Police of Ukraine were involved in the work.
“Literally in the past month, our pilots have already made more than 600 sorties. Based on the results, we’ve got about 150 people from the battlefield and from battlefields. Along the way, “we help our doctors get to the places where the tragedy happened as quickly as possible, or where there was a rocket attack or fighting took place. We will definitely develop this area of work,” Yenin said. .

It is known that at the beginning of 2021, a single aeromedical space will be created in Ukraine, within the framework of which pilot projects will be launched for evacuation in the Lviv and Kyiv regions and the creation of air transport of organ donors .
By the end of 2021, the Ministry of Health announced that since work began as part of a pilot project for aeromedical evacuation – from August 30, 2021 to December 29, 2021 – 57 sorties were conducted in the Kyiv region. Another 50 flights were made in the Lviv region from October 1 to December 29, 2021.
Recall that Ukraine has received fire equipment and ambulances from the French Republic.
Earlier, Britain sent 22 ambulances and 40 fire engines with equipment to Ukraine.
