In Kyiv, 50 representatives of offices of different countries have already resumed their work. This was announced on Thursday, June 2, in a speech by President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The Ukrainian leader noted that this indicates that the countries believe in the victory of Ukraine and are convinced that the Ukrainians will be able to protect their country from Russian military aggression.
“So far, there are 50 of them. It is very important, and not only practical for the work of diplomats, but also on a symbolic level. Every new embassy that returns to our capital is evidence of faith in our success, which Ukraine will be able to defend our state in this war that the Russian Federation has unleashed on our land, ”Zelensky said.

Zelensky also thanked all the ambassadors of foreign states who returned to Kyiv, and was also happy to receive the other ambassadors. The president expressed special gratitude to the ambassadors of countries that have not left the capital since Russia’s full -scale aggression began on February 24 – Polish Ambassador Bartosz Cichocki and Nuncio of the Holy See Visvaldas Kulbokas.
