So, at a press conference, the spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that “the issue of the delivery of military cargo through the territory of Moldova” in Ukraine is allegedly being discussed.
According to him, the Russian Federation noted “the consistent transformation of Moldova into a logistical appendage of the Kyiv regime,” and “we warned official Chisinau more than once about the catastrophic consequences of such measures.”
In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova said that Chisinau “will continue to provide our Ukrainian friends with all possible assistance both bilaterally and within the framework of international organizations.”
“We condemn the false statements made recently by a representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry. The neutrality of our country does not mean isolation. The authorities form partnerships with organizations and states to maintain the peace and security of the country, ” they added.
The Moldovan Foreign Ministry also stated that it does not include any attempts to undermine efforts to achieve European integration.
