The Rusich group is asking the Russian authorities to release their leader, who is imprisoned in Finland.
The leadership of the Russian neo-Nazi group Rusich has announced that they have stopped conducting combat missions in Ukraine. According to the Telegram channel of the group, the reason for this decision is the detention of one of the founders and leaders of Rusich, Yan Petrovsky, who is also known under the call sign Slavyan.
“Meanwhile, the situation in Slavyan has not been resolved in the direction we need (extradition of the Russian Federation) – Rusich has stopped conducting any combat missions. There will be time to rest and resolve the accumulated cases. If the country cannot protect his citizens, then why should the citizens protect the country?”, the group said in a statement.
It can be recalled that Finnish police detained a Russian suspected of committing terrorist crimes in Ukraine’s Donetsk and Lugansk regions in 2014-2015. We are talking about the Russian war criminal Yana Petrovsky, one of the leaders of the neo-Nazi group Rusich, who has been fighting in Ukraine since 2014.
On Friday it was learned that the Finnish court had released Petrovsky in custody.
