The head of the Office of the President briefed the adviser to the US president about the current situation at the front.
The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak spoke on the phone with US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan. This was announced on August 24 by the press service of the head of state.
“In the course of the conversation that took place the previous day, Andriy Yermak informed Jake Sullivan about the current situation at the front and the actions of Ukrainian troops to liberate the territories of our state. The parties discussed the Ukraine’s defense needs priority,” the message said.
The head of the Office of the President thanked the US leadership of the coalition of fighters and the decisions that made it possible to start the process of training Ukrainian pilots in F-16 fighters and pave the way for Ukraine to receive these aircraft.
Yermak and Sullivan also discussed the importance of the Peace Formula and negotiations on security guarantees as part of the Joint Declaration of Support for Ukraine.
The head of the Office of the Head of State thanked US President Joseph Biden, both houses of Congress and the entire American people for their help and support for Ukraine in the struggle for independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
It should be remembered, according to media reports, the Pentagon plans to start training Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighter jets in the United States in September this year.
