The representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate Andrei Yusov, in a commentary to the Public, indicated that, as part of a special operation, personnel were disembarked on the territory of the peninsula.
The Main Directorate of Intelligence with interaction with the Navy conducted a special operation, the goals were achieved, there were no casualties among the personnel. The special operation continues, we do not disclose all the details, there are losses among the enemy personnel, as well as forces and means. Information on the number of losses is being specified, – Yusov said.
Earlier, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kirill Budanov, noted that Ukrainian naval kamikaze drones paralyze the Russian fleet in Crimea, although 60-70% of them are destroyed.
It is not an offensive weapon. Of course, they cannot be attacked. But to paralyze the activity of the fleet, which finally happened in principle, has already been achieved. Ships do not go further than the raid of Sevastopol in the northern direction, Budanov noted.
Recall that in the village of Mayak there is a base of the 3rd radio-technical regiment of the radio-technical troops of the Aerospace Forces of Russia. Also on Tarkhankut is the radar node of the Nebo-M radar and the Kasta-2E2 radar. Along the perimeter there are positions for air defense.
