The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported unspecified Ukrainian successes in the directions of Novodanilovka (5 km south of Orekhov) and Novopokropovka (13 km southeast of Orekhov) in the Zaporozhye region. This is reported by the American Institute for the Study of War ISW.
In addition, ISW points out that the so-called Russian “military correspondents” are reporting attempts by the Ukrainian troops to cross the Dnieper in the Kherson region. One of them claimed that Ukrainian troops were continuing to try to gain a foothold near Oleshki, but the Russian 81st Separate Special Forces Brigade (probably a volunteer formation that is subordinate to the Dnipro occupation group of forces and recently recruited and received help from the occupied Crimea) was defending in the area . Another Russian military blogger lamented that Russian forces were not responding quickly enough to ferry Ukrainian defenders across the river.
