Biden, quoted by CNN, recalled that “there’s not much going on in Russia that Putin isn’t behind, but I don’t know enough to give an answer.”
He gave such a comment after playing sports in the Lake Tahoe area, where Biden is on vacation with his family.
CNN recalls that the American leader warned that Prigozhin should worry about his safety after the unsuccessful rebellion.
I said that (in Prigozhin’s place – ed.) I would be careful with what I drive. I don’t know for sure what happened, but I’m not surprised,” Biden added.
Recall that on the evening of August 23, Russian media and the Federal Air Transport Agency reported that a plane crashed in Russia, in the list of passengers of which Prigozhin was listed. All 10 people on board were killed. The media write that on board the plane, in addition to the leader of the Wagnerites, there was also his deputy – Dmitry Utkin with the call sign “Wagner”.
