In the Sumy region today, August 23, at about 10.00, a Russian Shahed-type kamikaze drone hit a school in the city of Romny.

The school building was completely destroyed. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.
It is noted that the Russians killed at least two teachers. The bodies of the dead were released by rescuers of the State Emergency Service. Three more people were injured.
There is information that two more employees of the institution are under the rubble. The search and rescue operation continues.
The press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General notes that a pre-trial investigation has been launched into violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (part 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code).
