Croatia will provide Ukraine with a new package of military assistance.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces will receive benefits totaling 30 million euros. the government should clarify the issue of assistance at a meeting scheduled for 31 August. This was announced on August 22 by Prime Minister Andriy Plenkovych after a meeting with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in Athens, HRT reports.
We have just completed a meeting with the President of Ukraine and once again expressed Croatia’s strong support to the Ukrainian people, the President, the government and everyone who is fighting for the freedom and territorial integrity of Ukraine,” he stressed.
According to Plenkovich, there will be a “big international demining conference” dedicated to Ukraine in October. At this event, Croatia, together with other EU countries and other international organizations, will begin the process of assisting Ukraine in the demining process.
Plenkovic also discussed with Zelensky plans to use Croatian ports to export grain from Ukraine. Several thousand tons of grain have already been exported from Croatian ports, and most of the production went to Italy and northern Africa.
Recall, on August 14, the United States of America announced a new $200 million military aid package to Ukraine. The price includes ammunition for air defense, artillery shells, anti-tank weapons, additional mine clearance equipment.
