In the Kiev region yesterday, on August 19, in the village of Petropavlovskaya Borshchagovka, Buchansky district, a fire broke out in a warehouse, as a result of which four employees of the State Research Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (GNIKTS) died.

On the afternoon of August 19, a series of explosions was heard near Kyiv in the area of the Ring Road. At that time, the air alert was not announced in the city.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko said that the cause of the explosions was the detonation that occurred during the examination of explosive objects carried out by the specialists of the GNIKC.
It is noted that local residents heard about 20 explosions. Law enforcement officers have blocked the road and do not let people out.
