The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Denmark on Sunday, August 20. The head of state announced this on Telegram.
The President emphasized that he continues to “work to strengthen Ukraine, to protect our people.”
“We are building cooperation. We are preparing further good news for Ukrainian soldiers. We are moving forward on the F-16 issue,” he said.
During his visit to the country, Zelensky will meet with Prime Minister Matte Frederiksen, the royal family, party leaders, members of the Folketing and Danish business representatives.
Recall that today Zelensky said during a trip to the Netherlands that Ukraine will receive 42 F-16 fighters after training pilots and engineers. The Netherlands and Denmark are undertaking to deliver F-16s to Ukraine after the conditions for such a transfer are met.
