A spokesman for OK Yug explained that the enemy brought a Kalibr missile launcher to the Black Sea, but it was a deceptive maneuver to strike from the northeast.
The Russian invaders in the night attack on the night of Saturday, August 19, tried to divert attention and confuse the Air Defense Forces of Ukraine. This is what the representative of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, Natalia Gumenyuk, said on the air of the news telethon.
According to him, before the next attack, the Russians launched a carrier of Caliber-type cruise missiles in the Black Sea, but in fact the invaders attacked Ukraine from the northeast.
“The enemy complicated the situation the day before in the south by putting a launch vehicle equipped with eight calibers on sea duty. Obviously, this was a (deceptive – ed.) maneuver. Because the attack took place later in the northern direction – the enemy launched the Shahids from the direction of Kursk,” he explained.
It will be recalled that on Saturday night, August 19, an alarm was announced in some eastern regions due to the threat of attack by kamikaze drones, as well as by enemy aircraft.
Later, the Air Force warned that a new group of shaheeds was flying over Ukraine. Following this, anxiety quickly spread to the west.
