The Russian Federation closed the entrance to the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan, who himself put on the wanted list.
The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the addition of 54 more people to the sanctions list of people from the UK banned from entering the Russian Federation. This was reported on August 18 by the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The Russian stop list includes representatives of the political establishment, law enforcement agencies, the professional legal community and the British journalistic corps. Among them, in particular, the Minister for Culture, Media and Sports, Lucy Fraser, she is accused of lobbying for international sports isolation of Russia and providing weapons to Ukraine, including shells with depleted uranium.
The list also includes Deputy Defense Secretary Annabelle Goldie and International Criminal Court Prosecutor Karim Khan.
Personal sanctions were imposed against the leadership of the British private military intelligence company Prevail Partners, whose specialists, according to Russian data, were involved in the collection of intelligence information for the Ukrainian special services, including personal data on foreigners and Russian citizens, as well. as in Russian military personnel involved in the war.
The updated stop list includes functionaries and correspondents from the British media, particularly from the BBC, Guardian Media Group and The Daily Telegraph.
The Russian Foreign Ministry threatened to further expand the “stop list” in response to the actions of the British authorities.
Recall that earlier the UK expanded the anti-Russian list of sanctions by 19 positions, including Iranian individuals and legal entities that provide support to the Russian Federation in the field of defense.
