The company is preparing for the heating season, taking into account air threats from Russia.
Centrenergo provides protective structures around the thermal power plant, which should protect the station from Russian attacks. This was announced on August 18 by the State Property Fund.
“Physical protection of critical elements of TPP facilities from falling missile fragments, indirect UAV attacks and other damage is carried out by constructing artificial protective structures around them. So, 100% of the repair work has been completed in Trypilska TPP and 70 % in Zmievskaya TPP”, – said in the release.
In addition, restoration work continues at power plants aimed at eliminating the consequences of hits on industrial sites during rocket attacks from the Russian Federation.
During heating Central energy plans to use eight power units with a total capacity of 1,640 MW.
To ensure uninterrupted generation operation during the autumn-winter period, the power units of Trypilska and Zmievska TPP will operate in a “mixed” format – on coal, gas and fuel oil.
Earlier it was reported that on August 1, the readiness of heat communal enterprises for the heating season exceeded 60%.
