If Ukraine is faced with a real threat of losing the state, then all the people will go to the front, they said in the Verkhovna Rada.

Today, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law extending martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine for another 90 days, that is, until November 15.

In general, the process of conscription in the country continues since February 24, 2022, and, as the military-political leadership says, only now the second wave of mobilization is working, but there are real prospects for strengthening mobilization processes.

“I will fight everything”

The previous day, Yegor Chernev, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, said that the mobilization in Ukraine is carried out in accordance with the law, but if the state needs it, everyone will go to war.

According to him, while there are no plans to make any changes to conscription in Ukraine in the near future, the system will continue to work as before.

“On our part, we make sure that it really works, and does not harm the military commissioners because of the avoidance of mobilization. Our task is to make sure that the rules and conditions are for everyone, and we are doing it, ” Chernev said in an interview with Novosti .LIVE.

But when reporters asked if all Ukrainians liable for military service would have to fight, the deputy said that it all depends on how long the war lasts and how many resources Russia has available.

The deputy explained that in fact the fourth stage of mobilization assumed that all people would go to war, while now the second wave is being carried out in Ukraine. He also noted that if our country faces “a real threat of losing the state, then everyone will go.” He emphasized that the duty of every person is to defend his country.

“However, today we are not talking about this option. We have the resources to stop the Russians in the east and south of Ukraine,” the deputy added.

The agendas will be distributed by the leaders of the condominiums

In line with this statement, the draft law No. 9566 was registered in the Verkhovna Rada. So, according to the draft law, the representatives want to allow employees of housing and community services, condominiums and other organizations serving residential buildings to submit information about conscripts and those liable for military service in military registration and enlistment offices and issue summonses. in TCC and the joint venture.

“Housing maintenance organizations, other organizations or businesses and institutions that operate houses, as well as house owners, in accordance with the orders of the district (city) territorial recruitment and social support center … timely submit the necessary information to the indicated authorities about the conscripts and those liable for military service, inform them of the call … by delivering the summons and supervise the arrival of the call,” said bill.

In addition, the document gives the right to a type of alternative service. Therefore, the authors of the bill openly admit that the practice of serving subpoenas on the streets is ineffective.

“Efforts to mobilize citizens for military service through coercion and threats have a negative effect on the economy, lead to unnecessary social tension, and also create a favorable impression for enemies who Ukraine has no brave patriots ready to defend the Fatherland,” the bill said. said.

The authors of the document are convinced that it should settle the issue with those who are not ready to fight. Persons liable for military service are invited to write a refusal to mobilize for personal or religious beliefs. These people will be involved in defensive activities and ensure the functioning of the national economy under martial law.

New campaign from the Ministry of Defense

Today, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine also showed posters where it wants to encourage conscripts to go to military registration and enlistment offices. The campaign is called “Update data in TCC.” The main message is not to be afraid to go to military registration and enlistment offices.

“We have developed a campaign, the main idea of which is that admitting one’s own fears is brave, and the army needs brave people,” the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

According to the spokesman of the Ground Forces, Roman Gorbach, updating the data will not take long – “you need to go to a TCC office with the appropriate package of documents.”

The posters depict Ukrainian soldiers talking about how they overcame the horrors of the front. These posters, as well as similar ones, will be displayed on the One News telethon, other TV channels, radio, cinemas, digital outdoor advertising and trains.
