The soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine expressed gratitude to their Slovak colleagues for their support in the fight against the Russian aggression.
The Chief of the General Staff of the Slovak Armed Forces, General Daniel Zmeko, visited the operational-strategic group of Tavria troops. This was announced on August 17 by the Joint Press Center of the Taurida Defense Forces.
At a meeting with defenders and defenders from the Defense Forces, the Ukrainian side thanked Slovakia for providing logistical assistance to our soldiers.
In particular, they noted the effectiveness of combat use of weapons provided by Slovakia.

Recall that the Chief of the General Staff of Slovakia visited Ukraine last week. He then met with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny. They discussed the situation at the front, the course of defensive and offensive operations, as well as the actions of the enemy.
Slovakia provides Ukraine with both military and political support. So the country has given its MIG-29 fighters, as well as Zuzana 2 self-propelled howitzers, to Ukrainian pilots.
