The Ukrainian military continued to clear the village of Urozhaynoye, and also advanced in the Bakhmut region.
The Ukrainian military, which entered the village of Urozhayne in the Donetsk region, managed to evacuate three people from the village. This was announced on Tuesday, August 15, by the head of Donetsk OVA Pavel Kirilenko in an interview.
“It’s even difficult for me to convey how they are there, hiding. Of course, they are in the basement. We are talking about the elderly,” said Kirilenko.
He pointed out that fighting continues in and around the village, and that the settlement itself is under constant fire from Russian troops.
“The indicated settlements were actually destroyed by enemy artillery and MLRS,” said the regional leader.
Kirilenko noted that until February 24, 2022, 500 people lived in Urozhaynoye.
Note that the Defense Forces have some success in battles for the Harvest. There, on the banks of the Mokri Yala River, is the fortified area of Russian troops. The attack on these positions by the Armed Forces of Ukraine began on August 8.
