This was announced by Prime Minister Denis Shmigal.
According to him, Ukraine is strengthening its defense capacity every day. So, on Tuesday, the government adopted two decisions to strengthen defense.
At the request of the Kharkiv and Chernihiv regional military administrations, we are allocating more than UAH 1.2 billion from the reserve fund of the state budget,” Shmihal said.
The prime minister noted that UAH 911.5 million will be allocated for the Kharkiv region and more than UAH 363 million for the needs of the Chernihiv region. Military engineering and fortification buildings will be built there.
According to the head of government, OVA is the customer and executor of these works.
Recall that the defenders of Ukraine created several powerful defensive lines in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. The construction of fortifications on the border with the Russian-controlled so-called Transnistria has also begun.
