Last night there was an attack on the city of Lutsk in Ukraine, and our factory was damaged during this attack, – said the speaker of the Swedish bearing manufacturer.
Bjornstam added that the company will look into the consequences of the attack and the damage done to the business.
According to the latest SKF report, the world’s largest manufacturer of industrial bearings has about 1,100 employees in Ukraine, most of whom work at the plant in Lutsk.
In addition, the report indicates that the Lutsk plant accounts for about 0.5% of SKF’s total production in 2022.
