DTEK restored electricity to 17 settlements of Donbass

Shelling in the Donetsk region continues. Power engineers restore damaged equipment and lines as soon as possible.

In two days, DTEK electrical engineers restored electricity to 40,000 families in 17 settlements of the Donetsk region, which were left without electricity due to enemy shelling. The company announced this yesterday.

“For August 9 and 10, emergency repair DTEK Donetsk power grids electricity was able to be fully or partially restored to residents of 17 communities. The homes of 40,531 families in the Donetsk region have been reconnected to the electricity supply.

At the same time, the shelling of the region continues. According to Donetsk OVA, on August 10, Vuhledar alone received 22 attacks.

In turn, DTEK’s power engineers restore damaged equipment and lines as quickly as possible.

It can be recalled that in July DTEK resumed electricity supply to nearly 300,000 subscribers who lost electricity due to Russia’s shelling of four regions of Ukraine.

DTEK also named the amount of costs for preparing thermal power plants and mines for the upcoming winter.
