A state of emergency was introduced in seven municipalities. The water flooded 31 settlements, 1393 household plots, 534 residential buildings and 40 road sections. At night, 200 people were evacuated from Ussuriysk.
Footage of the city slowly sinking into the water was shown on social media. Streets, roads, houses and apartments have been flooded, bridges have been destroyed. Residents move in boats, and cars literally float through the streets.
