This was announced by the editor of the European department of Radio Liberty Rikard Jozwiak.
According to him, the document should be made public in the second half of October.
The report will contain recommendations for Ukraine and Moldova to start EU accession negotiations and for Georgia to become a candidate, writes Yozwiak.
The journalist added that, despite this, a consensus of 27 EU member states at the summit in December will still be needed.
The European Commission has begun preparing a report on enlargement. The EC report, as expected, should be made public in the second half of October.
The European Commission has not yet abandoned the idea of a “conditional” candidate status for Georgia, which means that for the next stage (ie the start of negotiations) it must fulfill certain conditions and criteria.
Recall that the leaders of the EU countries at the end of June last year recognized the European perspective of Georgia, however, unlike Ukraine and Moldova, Tbilisi will receive the status of a candidate only after a set of reforms.
