Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky on Tuesday, August 8, visited the positions of the Ukrainian military in the direction of Kupyansk. The military announced this on its Telegram channel.
“We are working with commanders in the battle area in the direction of Kupyansk. We are making all the necessary operational decisions together,” he said in a statement.
He noted that the role of state defense commanders, without exaggeration, is significant, as they can make decisions that are fully in line with the situation on the ground.
“Not only the success of the operation, but also the preservation of the lives of our soldiers depends on their stability and action,” added the commander.
Syrsky also thanked the combat commanders for their courage and heroism in conducting combat missions.
It will be remembered that Oleksandr Syrsky said earlier that the Ukrainian servicemen continue to destroy the enemy along the entire front line. In particular, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the occupiers’ position through HIMARS strikes.
