On Pinkhas Rosen Street in Tel Aviv (Ramat ha-Chayal district), a car drove onto the sidewalk and rammed passers-by, after which the driver attacked citizens.
According to the police, the terrorist, who was driving a car, hit people standing near the shopping center. After that, he got out of the car and injured some citizens with a sharp object.
Seven people were injured, three of them in serious condition.
According to preliminary data, we are talking about a terrorist attack. Some media wrote that it was a “double terrorist attack with a car run over and shot.”
The terrorist was reportedly neutralized. It was liquidated by a passer-by – a civilian with a weapon.
It will be recalled that on July 3, the Israel Defense Forces launched a large-scale anti-terrorist operation in the city of Jenin, a refugee camp located on its territory, which the Israeli military considers “a haven for terrorists.”
