The head of the American diplomatic mission took his duties to a new position.
The new US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink, upon arrival in Kyiv, honored the memory of Ukrainians who died for their country. This was reported on the American embassy’s Facebook page.
As you know, every year on the last Monday of May, which this year falls on the 30th, the United States celebrates Remembrance Day for American soldiers who died in wars and armed conflict.
“On this Remembrance Day, I honored those who died defending their country (Ukraine – ed.), Presented my credentials to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and started a discussion on how we can support Ukraine , “said the ambassador.
According to him, the main priority of the US diplomatic mission in Ukraine is to help our country defend itself against Russian aggression.
