On Monday, May 30, the Office of the Mayor of the city of Mariupol published on the Web a video of the mass grave of the residents of the community who died at the hands of Russian occupiers.
“25 new trench-type sectors appeared in the Starokrymsky cemetery within a month. The corpses were laid in several layers, and then” masked “with signs as individual burials,” the caption said in video.
According to city authorities, the number of victims could exceed the previously announced 22,000 people.
As reported, the Russian military is destroying Mariupol for two reasons – as one of Ukraine’s largest industrial centers and to set an example for other cities resisting the invaders.
