Russian “military correspondents” said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had successes southwest of Klishchievka (7 km southwest of Bakhmut), and also continued counteroffensive operations in the south and south- west of Orekhov in the western part of the Zaporozhye region.

Volodymyr Rogov, a collaborator and representative of the occupying “administration” in the Zaporozhye region, said that Ukrainian forces advanced towards the positions of Russian trenches in the Robotino area (12 km south of Orekhov), and hand-to-hand combat. continues in these trenches.

Analysts also pointed to growing conflict between the Russian Defense Ministry and military commanders. Experts say the Russian Defense Ministry is likely seeking to censor some Kremlin-linked bloggers out of fear that they might expose Russian military failures to Putin.
