In Russia, in the Primorsky Territory, wagons and a locomotive derailed from the railway tracks. This was announced on Monday, July 3, by the press service of the Far Eastern Railway (ICE) of the Russian Federation.
The Chief Director of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Primorsky Territory clarified that the train was traveling from the Khabarovsk station to the Nakhodka station.
“The last car with coal, as well as a four-section electric locomotive, left the track. The car with coal turned over. As a result of the incident, 100 meters of track and two contact supports were damaged,” the report said.
It was reported that due to the accident, the movement of freight and passenger trains was suspended.
According to local media, no one was hurt.
It was earlier reported that in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation the movement of trains was stopped after 15 freight cars derailed.
