On Sunday, July 2, there is a slight advance of Ukrainian troops in the Berdyansk and Melitopol directions. Heavy battles with the invaders continue, but the Ukrainian defenders have partial success – they push the enemy back and level the front. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar in Telegram.
According to her, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are putting up intense resistance, replenishing their units with reserves. The advance is complicated by the fact that the enemy remotely mined the territory.
In the east of Ukraine, the enemy is advancing with offensive actions in several directions at once – Avdeevsky, Maryinsky and Limansky. The enemy also went on the offensive in the Svatovsky direction, there are fierce battles. The Russians are attacking Belogorovka, Serebryanka, the situation there is very complicated.
In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian troops have partial success in the southern direction, while fighting continues in the northern direction. The Russians deployed two air assault regiments here.
Recall that British intelligence reported on the intentions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to gain a foothold on the left bank of the Dnieper near the Antonovsky bridge in the Kherson region. Oppose the defenders of the unit of the 7th Guards Airborne Assault Division, which is part of the Russian group of forces “Dnepr”.
