Today, July 2, at about 11:20 am, Russian invaders fired at one of the residential areas of the regional center from the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region.

This was reported by the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
As a result of Russian shelling:
- at least four citizens were injured, two of them due to a targeted strike on a high-rise building. Information about the victims is being specified;
- debris damaged civilian infrastructure.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched into criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
So far, prosecutors, together with police investigators, are carrying out the necessary investigative actions.
