Vladimir Putin repeatedly said for several years that the Kremlin had nothing to do with PMC Wagner, and then admitted that the organization was financed from the state budget.
Russian propagandist Dmitry Kiselev in his program named the total value of contracts concluded by the state with Wagner PMC and Yevgeny Prigozhin’s Concord holding – the Kremlin spent at least one trillion rubles, wrote UP.
“Wagner Group, under contracts concluded with the state, received more than 858 billion rubles. This is almost a trillion. Under other contracts, Prigozhin’s holding Concord separately provided services to worth another 845 billion rubles. This does not mean that they made a huge profit, but still speaks about the size of the business and the size of ambitions,” said Kiselev.
This information was disseminated by the Kremlin media.
Perhaps, we are talking about the funds received by Prigozhin’s companies for the entire period of their existence. PMC Wagner was founded 10 years ago – in 2013.
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin repeatedly claimed for several years that the Kremlin had nothing to do with PMC Wagner, and then admitted that the organization was funded from the state budget of the Russian Federation.
Recall that Prigozhin’s activities, despite the unsuccessful coup attempt, were approved by almost a third of Russians.
