A pilot project on individual support during the transition from military service to civilian life begins in Vinnitsa, Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv and Mykolaiv regions.
On Saturday, July 1, in the regions of Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv and Mykolaiv began receiving applications for the competitive selection of veteran assistant candidates. This was announced by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
We are talking about the implementation of a pilot project of the Ministry of Veterans in the communities of four regions – a service for individual support within the transition system from military service to civilian life for defenders and Ukrainian defender coming home from the front. and service.
“Veterans’ assistants, and mostly ex-military, veteran family members and fallen heroes, will undergo special training, they will work in service offices and advise veterans on employment, training , aspects of social protection and rehabilitation, improving health, generally using their rights and benefits in different areas,” said the ministry.
The service was developed by the Ministry of Veterans with the help of the Diya Support Project, implemented by the United Nations Development Program in Ukraine with funding from Sweden.
From July 1, candidates for the positions of veteran assistants living in the regions of Vinnitsa, Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv and Mykolaiv can apply for competitive selection for participation in this project using the information portal of E -veteran.
The Ministry of Veterans noted that the desired place of work chosen by the candidates within the pilot region will be considered – subject to the participation of the territorial community in the pilot project.
Earlier, the Department of Veterans Affairs announced the requirements for candidates for the position of Veterans Assistant.
