“May was more successful for the export of IT services than the previous month. The indicator grew by 9.5% and reached $590 million,” the report said.
According to the company, at the same time, these numbers were 1.8%, or $11 million less compared to May last year.
Overall, during the five months of this year, the volume of exports of IT services reached $2.8 billion, 12% less than the same period in 2022. The difference between the periods in the dollar terms is $374 million.
According to Stepan Veselevsky, CEO of the Lviv IT Cluster, if the trend continues, the industry has a chance to end 2023 with the same revenue as in 2022, at $7.3 billion.
It was also noted that in May of this year, the share of IT in the structure of all export services reached 41%. In the same period last year – 47.5%.
