This, speaking in the Verkhovna Rada, was stated by Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, who today, July 1 – on the first day of Spain’s presidency of the Council of the European Union – arrived in Ukraine on a visit.
Today, Spain has decided on an additional allocation of 55 million euros, – said Sanchez.
Of this amount:
- 51 million euros will be provided through the World Bank – the funds will be used to finance small and medium-sized enterprises;
- 4 million through the UN Development Program will be directed to provide schools in Ukraine with environmentally friendly and sustainable energy systems.
Sanchez stressed that the restoration of Ukraine will require time and investment in many sectors. According to him, Spain seeks to accompany Ukraine in some areas, in particular, in the railway infrastructure, in which Spanish companies have certain know-how.
Ukraine is winning the war because it has already won the battle of ideas by choosing Europe. The EU has risen to avoid wars. We decided to come together in our diversity and that made us stronger. Europe is with you,” Sanchez stressed.
Ucraïna va a guanyar la guerra perquè ja ha guanyat la batalla de les idees al triar Europa.
